It's important to me to use my legal skills and expertise to help clients who might not be entirely comfortable with the legal system or may lack the resources to afford costly representation.
I would like to help you, your family, and your small business thrive, now and in the future.
Claire C. Robinson May
Claire is a graduate of Harvard College and Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review. She has been a licensed member of the Ohio Bar since 1996. Claire taught Legal Writing and related courses at Cleveland State University's College of Law (formerly Cleveland-Marshall) for many years as a Legal Writing Professor. She previously practiced law with large firms in Washington, D.C. and Cleveland. With a desire to serve clients more directly, Claire opened her own law practice, Robinson May Law.
Claire currently volunteers for The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland (where she worked during law school) and for election protection efforts. She is connected to the Greater Cleveland arts community as a produced playwright with an MFA in creative writing from CSU.
Claire grew up in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, a racially, ethnically, and economically diverse inner-ring suburb of Cleveland. She and her husband chose to raise their family in the Heights as well because of the invaluable experience and perspective to be gained from living and going to school in a diverse community.
